Robert Bell
Bell Land Use LLC Real Estate Professional
Robert Bell started his craft, interesting enough, in the U.S. Navy, serving at sea but most importantly as an administrative aide to Commander and Chief US Space Command. In this capacity he fine-tuned logical thinking, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the inter-relationship of important matters.
After 10 years of military service in 1989 he became a land use planner for a county government in Oregon where he immersed himself in the policies, procedures, and technical details of land use in a very environmentally conscious state.
Returning to his native Oklahoma in 1998, he became an Economic and Community Development Planner at the Central Oklahoma Economic Development District.
Because of this mix of skills, in 2000 Jenks offered him the opportunity to lead its planning and economic programs as its Planning Director.
At Jenks, Robert was credited with:
--Re-write and update of both the Jenks Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code.
--Written legislation which legitimized Specific Use Permits in the State Code.
--Guided and processed over 100 Residential and Commercial Planned Unit Developments.
--Focused private sector initiatives for Jenks Riverfront Development, creating Riverwalk, Village on Main, and the preparation of other land use areas and objectives.
--Collaborated with Jenks Public Schools’ extra-ordinary building program to be compatible in design and scale with the very nearby Downtown.
--And working with the private sector on the other areas of Jenks to integrate itself well with great neighborhoods.
In furtherance of his career, Robert wanted to assist developers, land owners, investors, buyers and sellers with his expertise to increase value to property.
--Opened Bell Land Use LLC in January 2018,
--Attained his Real Estate Salesperson License and Joined EXP Realty June 2018.
